01What ERMA SWAP is
ERMA SWAP shows indicative foreign exchange rates for five Libyan cities — Tripoli, Benghazi, Misrata, Zliten and Sabha — across cash, remittance, bank cheque, travel allowance, gold and silver markets. It also includes a converter that uses those published rates.
The app does nothing else. It does not match buyers and sellers, hold money, send money, exchange currency or complete any trade.
02Rates are for reference only
All rates are informational. They are not a quote, an offer, a recommendation or a guarantee of settlement. A cash desk, bank or private party may offer a different price.
Nothing in ERMA SWAP is financial, investment, legal or tax advice. You are responsible for your own decisions and for checking the price with whoever you deal with.
03Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to enter a binding contract where you live to buy a plan.
- Give accurate sign-up details and keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- Each person may use one free trial. Creating extra accounts to get more trials is not allowed.
- Accounts are personal. Do not share or resell your access.
04Trial and plans
New accounts get one 3-day limited trial: live USD in the morning and live EUR after noon (Tripoli time). Other currencies are listed but locked.
After the trial, a paid plan is required:
- City plan — every rate for one city you choose.
- Full plan — every rate for all five cities.
Payment buys access to the rates board only. It is not a money transfer and does not create any balance or deposit.
05Payments, renewal and cancellation
In Libya (LYD). Plans are paid through MyPay and last 30 days. They do not renew automatically; when the period ends, you can buy another.
International (card). Plans are paid through Stripe and renew monthly until you cancel. Cancel anytime in Settings → Manage subscription; access continues until the end of the paid period.
Prices are shown in the app before you pay and may change. A price change never affects a period you have already paid for.
Because access starts immediately, payments are generally non-refundable, except where required by law or if you were charged in error. If something went wrong, email supportteam@ermaswap.ly and we will review it.
06Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use ERMA SWAP or its rates for fraud, market manipulation or any unlawful activity
- Scrape, copy, resell or republish the rates in bulk, or build a competing service from them
- Interfere with, overload or try to gain unauthorised access to the service
- Reverse engineer the app except where the law allows it
Sharing an image of the board for personal, non-commercial use is fine.
07Accuracy and availability
We work to keep rates current, but data can be delayed, incomplete, wrong or unavailable, and the service may be interrupted for maintenance or reasons beyond our control. The app and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind.
08Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, ERMA SWAP is not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the rates or the app — including trading losses, lost profits or indirect damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 30 days before the claim.
09Our content
The ERMA SWAP name, logo, app, website and rate board are owned by us and protected by law. These terms give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the app; they do not transfer any ownership to you.
10Suspension and termination
You can stop using ERMA SWAP at any time and ask us to delete your account at supportteam@ermaswap.ly. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. If we close your account without cause, we will refund the unused part of any current paid period.
11App stores
If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play, their terms also apply to your download. Apple and Google are not responsible for the app or its content.
12Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Libya. We will first try to resolve any dispute with you informally by email.
13Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, tell you in the app or by email. Continuing to use ERMA SWAP after a change means you accept the updated terms.
